Position: Licensed Sales and Service Insurance Producer
Job Purpose: Provides service to clients’ changing insurance needs by selling and servicing various policy types such as auto insurance, homeowners’ insurance, and commercial business insurance.

Skills / Qualifications:
Must have active state insurance license, or ability to obtain license in near future.
Must have basic property and casualty product knowledge and proficiency in navigating insurance software and sales tools.
Must be able to work independently, organize, and manage tasks efficiently so as to meet sales goals
Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering high-quality service to customers and prospects
Proficient in initiating prospecting conversations through cold calls or approaching unfamiliar individuals to generate leads and acquire new clients
Possesses a positive demeanor, collaborates effectively with team members, and demonstrates openness to coaching and training
Key Responsibilities:
Helps the long-term success of the agency by following the agency’s guidelines and operational processes.
Generate leads and drive sales through various channels including cold calls, referrals, and networking, as well as agency marketing campaigns such as mailings, emails, telemarketing, referrals, making presentations to groups, etc.
Assess client risks, customize insurance programs, suggest suitable coverage options to meet their needs, and service them through to final sale of policy; Work with underwriting contacts to obtain approval for coverage applications.
Provides continuing service to customers by regularly reviewing policies, planning future follow-up meetings/calls, and adapting policies to meet clients’ evolving needs.
Stay up-to-date with industry changes, trends, and regulations to ensure accurate and informed client consultations; participate in educational opportunities and maintain professional network.
Handle client inquiries, triage calls, conduct initial prospect intake, provide quotes, and address coverage options and policy-related queries.
Occasionally collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies, promote new insurance contracts, or suggest modifications to existing ones.
